A Brief History In Time
technological landmarks in the life of a computer guy
1981 - My first personal computer (TI-99)
1983 - My second personal computer (C64)
1987/89 - CAD/CAM Engineering Technology (SIAST)
1989/90 - Micro-Computer Management (SIAST)
1990 - Implemented 33 PC network (Crestline, SK)
1991 - Clipper/DBase Programmer (Traxis, SK)
1992 - Special Projects Manager, Pacific Coast (Traxis, BC)
1999 - IBM VAST/Smalltalk Certification (KMHitech, BC)
2000 - Website Scripting & Consulting (Chilliwack, BC)
2000/01- Authored Specification: An Ideal Website Framework
2002/03 - 12 Month Evaluation: 20+ Portal Frameworks
After almost 2 years of independent analysis and product trials I had clearly identified the most forward thinking and well designed content publishing framework in the world. Several years ahead of any other system it was already ideal for developing web-apps, intranets or online communities.
By 2003 I was focused on how the CMS could better accommodate typical small business users and this led to Business Webbing in 2004. This has since become the core technology for everything I do.
Today I am an active contributor to several development projects, I wholesale this technology to 'skin' designers for resale and I accept a limited number of new retail clients each year.
